Position Title: Financial Payroll Analyst

Location: Rožnov pod Radhoštěm

Department: IT

Responsibilities

 

  • Books journal entries connected with payroll and payroll related accounts for CZ and Western European entities
  • Controls and initiates payments of payroll, social taxes, charges and kind of payments connected with payroll activity
  • Closely cooperates and communicates with Payroll providers including those located abroad
  • Communicates with internal Finance groups (Treasury, AP) and HR
  • Verifies accruals ( vacation, various bonuses, commissions, etc. based on payroll providers reports and HR information
  • Has responsibility for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing including reporting of payroll related transactions (pension, restructuring etc.)
  • Provides reconciliations between GL accounts and payroll balances with relevant justification
  • Cooperates with internal and external auditors, provides record of assets, liabilities and PnL transactions connected with payroll.
  • Ensures that archiving of payroll transactions and other relevant accounting documents is done in compliance with local requirements as well as internal policies and procedures
  • Can travel abroad for short term trips to meet with local payroll providers and local HR teams (if needed)

Requirements

 

  • High school/university degree in finance, accounting, HR
  • Experienced with payroll and HR matters
  • Accounting knowledge and experience (double entry booking)
  • Good PC skills – MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook; Oracle)
  • Good knowledge of English language (other language is advantage , German if possible)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Analytical skills, accuracy, reliability and ability to work well independently with management abroad
