What will be your main responsibilities in the role?
  • As Global IE, you will be expected to learn/master LamaSoft (Supply Chain Guru) Capacity modelling software and understand how each factory model is built (assumptions made, limiting factors such as OEE, Labor and etc) and optimize for increased efficiency and output
  • As Global IE, you will be working very closely with each site’s IE and Manufacturing departments to perform analysis on operational performance, equipment OEE gaps, manufacturing bottle necks, overall capacity limiting factors and develop action plans across whole supply chain (beginning to end)
  • This position requires potential candidate to have the ability understand complex problems with many different variables and ability to simplify for others along with alternative options to solve challenges in near and long term
  • As Global IE, you will be expected to respond urgent manufacturing / supply chain planning and/or operations questions such as production ramp limitations and line optimizations. Thus, expected to put together analysis/reports with strong data in a very short amount of time
  • As Global IE, you will be expected to communicate effectively with many different organizations and cross functional teams such as production, equipment engineering, planning, and supply chain so can clearly collect data (input) to be able to formalize proposals and solutions
  • Lead/Participate Kaizen events at multiple different factories across the world to solve specific problems and/or improve bottleneck in fab operations
What about you?
  • BE in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain or Engineering (Graduate degree highly preferred)
  • Min of 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years min experience with graduate degree
  • Strong analytical skills (This position requires reviewing and analyzing large data sets and come to meaningful conclusion)
  • Experience in Semiconductor Assembly / Test operations environment is preferred
  • Experience with data analysis and modeling tools (Qlikview, Tableau, Jump etc.) is preferred
  • Advanced level of EXCEL knowledge is critical (Ability to set up macros and formulas in excel)
  • SQL knowledge is essential to be able to manage large data sets from different databases
  • Good understanding of Semiconductor Factory KPI’s such as OEE, Equipment Efficiency, UPH, Cycle Time, XFactor, Capacity Modelling and Utilization, WIP , Dispatching and etc preferred
  • Good understanding and background on Lean Manufacturing, Factory Automation (AHMS), Kaizen is prefered
  • Good presentation and communication skills (Power Point) – ability to simplify complex problems and explain all external stake holders in simple terms
  • Strong critical thinking, ability to set priorities, organized and experience in project management
  • Ability to work independently as a Self-starter and self-time management abilities (Does not require supervision on day to day work) and same level efficiency in team environment
  • Travel to Asia about 8% of the time to review with Tactical Capacity Planning teams, and Assembly/Test factory teams
  • Experience with collaboration with international teams including Asia and Europe would be preferred

  • Meal Subsidy: Company canteen and meal subsidy on an average of 70 CZK per lunch taken in the company canteen or meal subsidy in value of 60 CZK (acceptable in external restaurants).
  • Accommodation support: For employees who decided to relocate from a different region, the company contributes to home rent during the first four years of employment or the company contributes to mortgage payments for those who decided to buy their home.
  • Sports and Cultural Activities Support: The employee receives an annual contribution for culture and sports activities of approximately 2000 CZK per employee per year. The employee becomes eligible after the probation period.
  • Children recreation: The employee receives an annual contribution for children recreation of max 1000 CZK per child per year. The employee becomes eligible after the probation period.
  • English: You will have a chance to attend company English language courses and utilize your knowledge at your daily job.
