We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our validation team, focusing on evaluating and characterizing semiconductor chips and IPs. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in circuit design, testing methodologies, and laboratory instrumentation. This role requires attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
What will be your main responsibilities in the role?
- Conduct testing, evaluation, and characterization of semiconductor chips and their electrical performance.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, sourcemeters, and other test equipment
- Design or modify custom test bench hardware
- Develop and maintain scripts for automated measurements. Develop and refine test methodologies for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with design and R&D teams on validation plans.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electrical circuit design or evaluation, testing, or characterization preferred, but highly capable junior candidates will also be considered.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuits and their behavior.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.) and soldering. v
- Experience with PCB design.
- Introductory-level scripting (e.g. Python) skills
- OOP, data analysis, and experience using Python for hardware interfacing (e.g., COM, I²C, SPI) is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written, for documentation and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
