onsemi is expanding its Marketing Data & Analytics team and looking for a talented, self-driven, and collaborative Marketing Data Engineer. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain data solutions that support smarter, faster decision-making across global marketing, sales, and business teams. You’ll work closely with analysts, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows.
- Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Python, SQL, and other tools.
- Build and optimize data models and tables in Snowflake, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure reliable and consistent data delivery and integrity across systems and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Work with large datasets from various sources and integrate them into centralized data platforms.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Requirements:
Mandatory
- Data warehouse experience including ETL (sustainable automation, data transformation, workload management, data structures, and dependencies
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including building and managing tables.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and R
- Proficiency with automating data through REST APIs
- Understanding of web technology, marketing automation, and data visualization platforms
- 5 years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information system management, data engineering, data analytics, computer engineering, or related field
Preferred:
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools such as SFDC and Marketo
- Ability to build and optimize big data sets, pipelines, and architectures
- Ability to perform root cause analysis on processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Excellent analytic skills associated with working on unstructured datasets
- Experience with data governance and data privacy laws
- Excellent project management, communications and problem-solving skills
