We are seeking a highly skilled SRAM & ROM IC Memory Design Engineer to develop and optimize memory architectures for high-performance and low-power applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing, simulating, and verifying SRAM and ROM memory blocks while working closely with cross-functional teams in circuit design, layout, verification, and technology development.
What will be your main responsibilities in the role?
- Design and develop SRAM and ROM memory architectures for various semiconductor applications.
- Perform transistor-level circuit design and simulation for memory arrays, peripheral circuits, and sense amplifiers.
- Optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) of memory designs to meet product requirements.
- Conduct timing, reliability, and variation analysis (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations, worst-case corner analysis).
- Work closely with physical design (layout) engineers to ensure optimal layout implementation for memory cells and bitlines.
- Implement redundancy and error correction techniques for enhanced memory reliability.
- Perform SPICE simulations, EM/IR drop analysis, and power integrity verification.
- Support design verification and validation, including functional verification, silicon bring-up, and debugging.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s, Master’s in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SRAM/ROM memory design for semiconductor applications.
- Strong knowledge of CMOS circuit design, transistor-level simulation, and memory architecture.
- Experience with SPICE, Spectre, HSPICE, FastSPICE, or other circuit simulators.
- Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, or equivalent tools.
